Seti Tesefay

Seti Tesefay dedicates her practice in various areas of law, including construction law, bankruptcy, surety representation, insurance defense, and employment law. Seti started her legal career as an Assistant Legal Counsel at the Permanent Court of Arbitration (“PCA”) located in The Hague, Netherlands, where she administered investor-state and inter-state disputes. After her time at the PCA, Seti worked at a boutique German law firm as an International Associate, dealing mainly with various international commercial disputes, such as construction and post-M&A disputes. Prior to joining Weinstein Radcliff and Pipkin, Seti practiced securities litigation and represented broker dealers in front of FINRA arbitration panels. Seti’s experience in international and domestic arbitration allows her to bring a unique perspective in helping clients resolve their disputes. 

REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE
CONSTRUCTION AND SURETY

·         Representation of developers, general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers through all stages of the construction process and construction litigation.

·         Representation of sureties in payment and performance bond disputes.

EMPLOYMENT

·         Prosecute and defend claims involving non-compete and non-solicitation agreements.

·         Prosecute and defend claims involving breach of employment agreements.

INSURANCE DEFENSE

·         Representation of insurers through all stages of the civil litigation process.

BANKRUPTCY 

·         Representation of creditors throughout the bankruptcy process.   

SECURITIES LITIGAITON

·         Representation of brokerage firms in FINRA arbitration proceedings.
